6/22/2023 0 Comments Wifi photo transfer app ipad![]() Let me explain a bit how the app works so you have an idea why sometimes these connection problems occur. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Our support email is: supportphototransferappcom if you need more specific help. Please let us know if were able to try the 'ad-hoc' method on your office computer. for instructions on how to create an ad-hoc network with Windows Vista please follow these instructions: This allows you to bypass the office router and your photos should transfer with no problems. An ad-hoc network is a direct network between your computer and your iPhone/iPad. In this case, what I could recommend you is to try creating an 'ad-hoc' network. Unfortunately in this case we can't do much as the configuration of the router depends on the network administrator. This basically prevents devices inside of the same network to communicate with each other. Some networks are configured to "isolate" devices for security purposes. That's why the app works well at home and not at your office. It is possible that the wifi router that you are using at your office location is configured with much higher security settings than the one that you use at home. Anyone who got it to work with no problem, and have no idea why, well, let’s just say that the worst is yet to come for many of them. You now know that you have a secure network. While many of you want to be angry with the Photo Transfer app and its creators, you should be thanking them instead. Photo Transfer does not create this problem, it only makes it visible. Your problems with photo Transfer are caused by your wireless router, and can be solved by looking there. Many of the most protective wireless routers have guest accounts, and a mechanism to let others into your network. ![]() The companies who make wireless routers are damned if they don't, and damned if they do. If any of you had one, and installed it the way they instructed you to do, you would have a problem getting Photo Transfer to work. The newest Linksys/Cisco router I bought for my father was the most secure router I've seen so far. I can find many of those unsecure networks around my town. They are dummy proof because without the automated security settings that go into place to protect you from the evils of the internet most people would have an open network, and zero security. Most people only connect to the internet, and most of the new routers are dummy proof. The help given to solve anyone’s problem with the Photo Transfer app are not unique to Photo Transfer. The problems are due to the wide variety of wireless networking devices, and security apps on PC's. The problems people are having with Photo Transfer have nothing to do with an Ipad. Please note that I am just a user of the program, just like you, I am not connected with the producer of the Transfer product in any way. If you still have trouble after you verify that you are on the same network, by having a similar IP address for the first three groups of numbers, please reply with the message you get when you try to connect. My iPad produces this address The :8080 is the port number on the connection There are no spaces between any of it. I can't assume that you don't know that the IP address is separated by only a period. Be sure to type the address as you see it. If you are not getting that far, then I suggest that you use Ipconfig at a DOS prompt and be sure that you are getting and address from the same network as your iPad. Once you select the Windows, as I have, you would get a web page produced by your iPad and the Transfer software. In any case, the iPad will produce a page that says Send or Receive, then Apple, Windows, or iPhone/Ipad. I would be sure there is no security software installed that may be stopping you. We will try our best to help resolving the issue fast. I offer a sincere apology for the issues you've had and I invite you to send us an email to support phototransferapp com with some details of the problem so we can assit you accordingly. Knowing this will help us understand where the problem may be so we can assist you accordingly. For example, tell us the address that you are getting on the application, the brand and model of your router and the type of computer and web browser you are using. It would be great if you can email us some details of your specific setup so we can understand where the problem may be. ![]() Did you have a chance to visit our website and watch the videos we prepared there?
